My wife and I really enjoyed our stay with Raymonde. She and her husband were wonderful hosts. The immersion really helped our speaking and listening skills and Raymonde introduced us to some great resources to continue our French learning. We really enjoyed our field trip to Lausanne and the Olympic Museum. In addition, Raymonde prepared lovely meals and I loved being able to work with her in the kitchen. Her passion for local and organic foods was evident, and the breads and cheeses were “délicieux”!
We found Gingins to be an amazing little Swiss village, especially for those who love the outdoors, with all of the walking, hiking, biking, and skiing possibilities right there. We were also fortunate to be able to take in a couple of small events and experience a bit of the local community. We wished we could have stayed longer!
